The new Ambient Air fragrance concept has been specially developed to meet the needs of the discerning BMW driver. These fragrances create an exclusive and cosy atmosphere in the vehicle interior, ensuring maximum comfort, even on long-distance journeys. In addition, a wide selection of different scents allows BMW drivers to further personalise their vehicles, making them unique and exclusive. The Ambient Air range features eight multifaceted fragrances, divided into four distinct suites. Each suite represents a fragrance world and contains a light scent (No. 1) and a more intense one (No. 2).
The various Ambient Air suites create special fragrance worlds in the vehicle interior, making a lasting contribution to the well-being of the BMW driver. The small, handy shape of the fragrance cartridges ensures that they can be easily installed and removed from the glove compartment. The design of the high-quality fragrance cartridges is based on the exclusivity of the interior and features the BMW emblem clearly visible in the centre of the cartridge.
Up to two fragrance cartridges can be installed in the dispenser located in the glove box. The intensity and scents can be regulated according to the driver's preference via the iDrive Controller. The lifespan of a fragrance cartridge is approximately 6 months (at medium intensity and 1 hour of daily use). Ambient Air fragrances are emitted through a cloth soaked in scented oil, which is securely sealed in the cartridge, preventing any leakage into the vehicle interior.
The energy of nature unfolds in the Green Suite. - Hyacinth and cardamom convey the naturalness of a dew-covered green meadow in Green Suite No. 1. - The composition of moss, mint and a noble woody note fills Green Suite No. 2 with the energy of fresh forests.
