The ConnectedRide Cradle mount is used to use your smartphone as a navigation device while driving. Via the BMW Motorrad Connected app, the navigation map and vehicle data can be accessed in the field of view via the Multi-Controller. The holder allows different sizes of smartphones and charges the smartphone inductively or with a cable. - Practical support for using the smartphone as a navigation device. - Map representation and display of vehicle data in the BMW Motorrad Connected app. - Control of the BMW Motorrad Connected application via the Multi-Controller. - Wireless charging according to the Qi standard, wired charging via USB-C port. - Individually adjustable arms for different sizes of smartphones. - The Cradle can be locked to the motorcycle stand, if it supports it. Additional Information: - Individual adjustable arms allow the insertion of smartphones of different sizes. - The ConnectedRide Cradle can be locked to the motorcycle mount, if it supports it. The smartphone cannot be locked in the ConnectedRide Cradle. - The BMW Motorrad Connected app can be operated via the vehicle's navigation readiness control (MMC). - Wireless charging of your smartphone according to the Qi standard. Additionally, the Cradle offers a USB-C connector for wired charging of smartphones that do not support wireless charging. - Map representation and display of vehicle data in the BMW Motorrad Connected app in the viewing area while driving. - For full use of all functions described, the BMW Motorrad Connected app must be used from version 4.0 or later. BMW Motorrad recommends always installing the latest updates for flawless operation. Smartphone charging: - Prioritization: If the USB charging function is active, wireless charging is disabled. - Charging activity indicator on the ConnectedRide Cradle via LED (deactivatable). - Charging power: - Inductive charging (Qi compatible): max. 7.5W - Wired charging (USB-C): max. 7.5W (1.5A at 5V) - Separate charging cable if necessary: BMW Motorrad recommends the use of a very short cable with a USB-C connector and a suitable smartphone connector.
