The M Performance steering wheel is based on the M leather steering wheel from the M3/M4 with a diameter of 373 mm. It is covered in high-quality Alcantara and sewn with tricolour stitching in the BMW M colours. The steering wheel trim is adorned with lacquered carbon, into which a chrome M Performance logo has been inlaid. A function display with the latest OLED technology and two bicolour LED indicators to the right and left of the display have been integrated into the upper part of the steering wheel rim. To operate it, there are two buttons below the Alcantara in the thumb rest area. The modes EfficientDynamics, Sport Mode and Race Mode can be selected at the push of a button.
