The new Ambient Air fragrance concept has been specially developed to meet the needs of the demanding BMW driver. Ambient Air fresheners create an exclusive and well-being atmosphere inside the vehicle, ensuring maximum comfort even on long journeys. In addition, a wide selection of different fragrances allows BMW drivers to further personalize their vehicles, making them more elegant and individual.
Eight multifaceted fragrances have been created for the optional Ambient Air package (SA 4NM), which are divided into four different suites. Each suite represents a unique fragrant environment and contains a light fragrance (No. 1) and a more intense one (No. 2). Each fragrance must be ordered separately, as they are not sold in packages.
The different Ambient Air suites create worlds of special fragrances in the vehicle interior, significantly contributing to the well-being of the BMW driver. The small and practical shapes of the fragrance cartridges ensure that they can be easily installed and removed from the glove box compartment.
The design of the high-quality fragrance cartridges is based on the exclusivity of the interior and shows the BMW emblem clearly visible in the center of the cartridge. Up to two fragrance cartridges can be installed in the diffuser in the glove compartment, and the fragrances and their intensity can be regulated via the iDrive Controller according to the driver's wishes.
The shelf life of a fragrance cartridge is approximately 6 months (at medium intensity and 1 hour of use per day). Ambient Air fragrances are emitted through a felt impregnated with fragrance oil, which is securely sealed in the cartridge and therefore cannot leak into the vehicle interior.
The Golden Suite exudes sensuality and aromatic warmth. Like a bazaar of sensual aromas, the delicate smells of patchouli, violet and vanilla unfold in the Golden Suite No. 1. With its warm accords of cedar wood and cardamom, tempered by a touch of honey, the Golden Suite No. 2 It is an evocation of twilight in a bright desert.
