BMW M GmbH sets an example at the beginning of the anniversary year. To commemorate the 50th anniversary, the classic "BMW Motorsport" emblem returns. The BMW logo with the staggered semicircles in blue, dark blue and red was first used in 1973 on the racing cars of BMW Motorsport GmbH, which had been created the previous year.
The new BMW M 50 Years LED door projectors make entering and exiting a unique experience. When the car doors are opened, a graphic is projected on the ground next to the vehicle. This unusual lighting of the entrance area gives the driver, his occupants and passers-by a feeling of exclusivity and individuality.
