M Performance aerodynamic components give the business sedan an additional sporty appearance. The range includes a front spoiler, side skirts and rear spoiler made of carbon, as well as a three-piece aramid rear diffuser.
All parts listed here were developed for BMW 5 Series vehicles from 07/2023 with M Sport package or M Aerodynamics package.
The rear diffuser consists of three parts. All three parts are mandatory and must be ordered separately.
The M Performance aerodynamic and exterior components are technically perfectly coordinated with each other.
The design and shape were developed specifically for the 5 Series sedan. The parts fit perfectly into the geometry and aesthetics of the vehicle.
The careful manufacturing of the parts gives them a high-quality appearance.
The M Performance components have been subjected to extensive testing in various tests. All legal regulations are met.
The rear diffuser is made of aramid and is sealed with clear lacquer. Aramid is a high-quality fibre composite material that is very similar in appearance and processing to carbon fibre. Unlike carbon fibre, all parts made of aramid are electromagnetically permeable. This means that the automatic opening of the trunk continues to work contactlessly via the foot sensor.
The M Performance rear diffuser is made of aramid. This means that functionalities such as the Smart Opener are retained.
