And that is why, from now on, all our national outbound shipments except certified letters, Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands, are sent via the transport company par excellence UPS.
We chose UPS based on the efficiency of:
- Fast transport 24/72 hours to any point on the peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
- If the customer is not at home, it is left at a UPS Access Point (that is, in a store close to the customer's home so that the customer does not have to wait until the next day and can go pick it up the same day).
- Percentage of breakages/losses
- Professionalism
It is true that shipping costs are higher, but we have chosen NOT to increase our rates on the website, so that the customer is not negatively affected, but only positively.
It is also worth mentioning that we have launched a new additional and optional service called UPS Premium, which does have an extra cost, consisting of guaranteed delivery of the order on the next working day (Monday to Friday) as long as it is placed before 2:00 p.m. and we have stock in the main warehouse. It should be noted that in the event of non-compliance or if the stock is not available at that time, we will pay the customer the surcharge for the contracted Premium service.
